Rear shock mount upgrade for TT-02B

This alloy rear damper plate is an aftermarket upgrade for the Tamiya TT-02B touring chassis, supplied by GPM as model TT2B030. The metal replacement delivers a tougher mounting surface than the standard plastic part, aimed at reducing movement at the shock top under repeated runs.

Designed specifically for rear shock mounting and suspension tuning on the TT-02B platform, the plate helps maintain consistent suspension geometry so your rebound and compression settings behave more predictably. It is a practical hop-up for drivers who want repeatable handling when adjusting their setup.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the original rear plate, move over the shocks and any hardware, then secure the alloy plate to the same mounting points. Confirm that clearances and shock travel are correct before finishing the install, and use standard hobby hex drivers for the work.

Yes, it is made to match the stock rear mounting points, though you should inspect fit and alignment before final tightening.
In many cases the original screws will work fine; check that they seat properly and replace them only if they are worn or the length is incorrect.
The alloy mount reduces shock top movement, which can lead to a steadier damping response when you change settings during setup.
