Reinforced Centre Mount for Bullet Flux

The BUL-18006-GU centre bulkhead is supplied in gunmetal alloy and designed to sit at the heart of the HPI Bullet Flux chassis. The assembly includes a bearing to support the driveshaft and reduce rotational play under load.

Compared with factory plastic parts, the alloy bulkhead offers a firmer mounting surface that helps preserve gear alignment and limits unwanted chassis flex when you alter suspension settings or swap gearing. The bearing helps keep driveline rotation steady for repeatable performance.

Fitting requires partial removal of the gearbox area to replace the original centre bulkhead; precise alignment when reassembling is important to avoid bearing preload and incorrect driveline angles. This component is for RC model use only and not intended for full-size vehicles.

Specifications

  • Item: Center bulkhead set with bearing
  • Material: Gunmetal alloy
  • Model Number: BUL-18006-GU
  • Compatibility: HPI Bullet Flux

Fit this centre bulkhead when you want a stiffer central mounting point and steadier driveline behaviour on HPI Bullet Flux chassis during setup work or club competition.

Compare mounting hole spacing and gearbox clearance on your chassis with the BUL-18006-GU layout; different Bullet Flux editions can vary, so visual confirmation is recommended.
By reducing flex and improving alignment, the alloy bulkhead can lessen uneven gear loading, which may help prolong gear and shaft life under tuned conditions.
Re-check gear mesh and driveline angles after fitting; small shims or slight gearbox repositioning can correct any residual misalignment introduced during the swap.
Inspect the bearing periodically for grit and smooth rotation, clean gently and re-lubricate if needed, and replace it if you detect play or noise to keep driveline performance consistent.
