This boxed kit represents the US M26A1 Pershing in 1:72 scale, supplied as a plastic assembly set designed for static display and reference modelling.
The M26 line evolved from T26 prototypes and was introduced into late 1945 European operations. The M26 was standardized in March 1945, and subsequent paired improvements led to the M26A1 by 1948, which included the 90mm M3A1 main gun with a bore evacuator and revised muzzle brake, a lighter equilibrator within the M67A1 mount, and modifications to the gun travel lock to refine handling and ballistic performance.
The kit reproduces the M26A1 configuration using multiple sprues plus separate upper and lower hull sections. With 168 parts the layout reflects traditional injection-moulded construction aimed at collectors and static modellers. U.S. service decals are supplied. The finished model's small footprint is suitable for both diorama scenes and shelf display at 1:72 scale.
A detailed, compact 1:72 scale Pershing kit aimed at static displays and comparative model collections.
