Front wheel pair engineered for YRF 001W

This pair of RC front wheels is supplied as a set and is engineered specifically for fitment on the YRF 001W Wide chassis. It is intended as either a direct replacement or an upgrade when a wider front tyre footprint is desired to change steering response on scale touring car tracks.

Compatibility is limited to the listed chassis model: verify the YRF 001W Wide chassis wheel mounting system before installation. The wheels use the existing front hubs and retained hardware on the chassis; once installed, check for wheel runout and secure wheel fasteners to the manufacturer's recommended torque settings.

In setup terms, a wider front rim increases the contact area at the tyre edge and can alter initial turn-in and mid-corner steering feel. Combine these wheels with appropriate suspension and front toe adjustments to fine tune steering balance, and re-check alignment and camber under static load after changes.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The wheels are designed for the YRF 001W Wide chassis. Non-wide variants may have different hub geometry; confirm hub dimensions before assuming compatibility.
Select tyres whose bead and profile are compatible with the increased rim width. Wider rims tend to flatten tyre profile, so choose compound and section width that maintain the desired contact patch.
Yes. Test steering behavior at low speed and mid-corner, then adjust front toe, camber, and roll stiffness to rebalance handling as needed.
