X4F 27 precision flex chassis plate

This X4F 27 aluminium flex chassis comes as a 1.5mm competition plate intended for tracks with elevated traction. It provides managed flex to alter steering characteristics and cornering balance while avoiding any implication of full-size vehicle use. The slim layout and tapered lower edges reduce chassis contact with the track surface, supporting consistent corner speed on both carpet and asphalt.

Made from Swiss 7075 T6 alloy and CNC-machined to tight tolerances, the chassis prioritizes repeatable flex behaviour and durability in racing conditions. The material and finish give teams predictable response that is easy to incorporate into setup changes.

Correct installation needs the specified hardware: HUDY Spring Steel countersunk screws #913305 M3x5 (4 pcs) must be paired with 4 pcs of shims #303118-C and 4 pcs of shims #301119-C. Follow the mounting layout exactly to obtain the intended ride height and preload of the chassis plate.

Specifications

  • Item: X4F 27 Aluminium Flex Chassis 1.5mm
  • Material: Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium
  • Model Number: XRAY 301030
  • Compatibility: Intended for high-traction carpet and asphalt track setups

Used as a tuning element, the 1.5mm flex plate helps drivers who need sharper steering and steadier corner speed on grippy tracks; install with the specified HUDY screws and shims to achieve the intended chassis behaviour.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Tighten the HUDY Spring Steel countersunk screws #913305 M3x5 just enough to secure the plate without distorting it. Use the shims #303118-C and #301119-C as specified to set preload, checking for even seating.
The Swiss 7075 T6 material resists fatigue and abrasion, but like all chassis plates it will show wear over time where it contacts rough surfaces. Inspect regularly and replace if deformation affects performance.
Yes. Adjusting shim thickness alters ride height and preload, which changes how the chassis flexes. Use the recommended HUDY screws with the listed shims to tune for your track conditions.
Treat the plate as a fine-tuning tool: small changes to shim arrangement and mounting preload can shift steering balance and mid-corner grip without large suspension changes.
