Broadened carbon top shock brace

This tower is created to increase suspension setup options on XB2 cars while preserving the original geometry. Adding outer shock mounts gives tuners distinct ways to alter steering behaviour and front traction on bumpy tracks.

Constructed from machined carbon fiber, the part emphasizes stiffness and repeatable mounting locations to keep suspension alignment stable under load. The wider spacing complements bridge upper deck arrangements that can accept extra outer shock positions.

Designed as a tuning aid: fit it to trial roll centre and steering balance adjustments by moving shocks outward, then adjust shock lengths, spring rates, and damping to fine tune handling on rough sections.

Fitting follows the standard bridge upper deck mounting points; align the holes with your existing shock tower locations and secure with the same hardware pattern. No cutting or chassis alteration should be needed on compatible setups.
Generally body clearance remains unchanged, but verify shock and linkage travel after installation. Adjust body posts or servo link endpoints only if contact occurs during full suspension movement.
Start by testing one or two outer positions and note steering and traction changes. Then alter damping and spring rate incrementally to control how the front responds over bumps.
Machined carbon fiber offers good stiffness but inspect it after heavy impacts. Check fasteners and mounting points regularly to ensure secure fitment.
