Precision Plate Built for the XRAY T4'21

The XRAY 301006 T4'21 Aluminium Flex Chassis is crafted for high-traction racing conditions such as carpet and asphalt. With a slim 84mm profile and Swiss 7075 T6 construction, it gives a sturdy yet agile foundation for competitive setups.

Reworked Mount Points and Bulkhead Positioning

This version provides mounting holes for long and short arm suspension holders but excludes the alternate short-arm hole pattern to improve robustness. Bulkheads have been moved 1mm inward to accommodate a mid-motor configuration and to align with the centre drivetrain architecture.

Engineered Flex and Lowered Contact

The 2.0mm CNC-machined plate contains strategic cutouts that refine flex response according to track grip. The underside is profiled to limit chassis contact while cornering, which improves rotation and lap consistency.

Can I run this with a different motor position?

The chassis is optimised for a mid-motor layout and centre drivetrain; other motor positions may require adjustment to bulkheads and mounts.

Does the narrow width change tyre wear?

Narrower chassis can alter contact angles, so monitor tyre edge wear and adjust camber or toe to maintain even tyre life.

How do the CNC cutouts affect tuning?

Cutouts are placed to tune flex; small changes in dowel positions and shock settings will interact with the chassis compliance, so tune progressively.
