The XRAY 301071 1.6mm Graphite Upper Deck offers a focused option for drivers aiming to tune their X4 chassis. Constructed from 1.6mm graphite, it complements an aluminium chassis in modified classes and helps increase traction without losing steering precision.

Four Flex Choices

Choose from four flex configurations to match track demands:

• Soft Setting: No bushing or bearing fitted to allow maximum flex and strong steering, with lower on-power stability.
• Soft-Medium Setting: Uses a ball bearing connection to slightly reduce steering for better stability.
• Medium Setting: A special M3x5.5mm screw behind the layshaft creates a compromise between steering and stability.
• Stiff Setting: Special screws installed both behind and ahead of the layshaft increase rigidity and maintain steering response.

Given the 1.6mm thickness, the stiff setup is often recommended to reduce the chance of damage and to extend life under hard use.
