Can I use modern front uprights with this bulkhead?

The bulkhead follows the older T2 mounting pattern. Many modern uprights will fit but you should check hole spacing and pivot geometry before final installation.

Will the orange finish hold up on road use?

The colour comes from a surface finish applied during manufacturing. Routine cleaning and avoiding harsh abrasives will help maintain appearance over time.

Is modification required for a restoration project?
