The XRAY 302242 X4 aluminium hub is a CNC-machined, lightweight steering block made from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and finished with black anodizing. It is a direct replacement for the standard composite hubs and is intended specifically for 1:10 scale X4 series cars used in high-grip track conditions.
Aluminium steering blocks lower component flex versus stock composite parts, delivering crisper steering feel and more repeatable turn-in. This helps when running spec classes or when lap-to-lap setup consistency is critical.
The hub is built to be used on any corner with the matching extensions supplied for position-specific fitment. Full axle-height adjustment is included so suspension geometry can be tuned for different grip levels. Carbon front steering plates or rear ARS plates attach to the hub depending on wheelbase and fitment.
Note: because the aluminium hub sits lower than the kit composite hub, add 2.0mm of additional shimming to restore the original upper arm height above the hub when swapping parts.
Use this hub when aiming for reduced steering flex and consistent axle-height tuning on high-grip circuits; it is a direct technical upgrade for X4 series cars.
