Accurate steering with a stiff composite design

The XRAY 302372 Composite C-Hub Left set to 2 degree caster offers a rigid steering pivot that helps keep the front end predictable in competitive foam-tyre racing. The hard material is chosen for track durability and consistent feel lap after lap.

Quick maintenance geometry

Openings in the hub allow the full CVD to be slid in or out without dismantling adjacent parts, making setup changes and repairs quicker trackside. This layout also helps limit CVD binding following big hits.

Flexible for different tyre choices

Primarily developed for foam-tyre use, this C-hub remains usable with rubber tyres for testing or mixed conditions. It installs on both T2 and T3 steering blocks to suit a range of model configurations.

Multiple caster and material options

XRAY offers this part in several caster options (0, 2, 4, and 6 degrees) and material hardnesses (Medium, Hard, Graphite, and Aluminum) so you can match stiffness to track grip. Note that the EU Edition features medium rigidity for rubber-tyre racing while the US Edition targets hard rigidity for foam events.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes, the hard composite construction is optimised for foam-tyre racing where a firmer front end is beneficial.
If your chassis uses T2 or T3 steering blocks, the C-hub is compatible. Verify dimensions against your specific model before purchase.
The openings enable faster CVD servicing and reduce the chance of the CVD binding after impacts, which helps keep you running between heats.
For rubber-tyre racing, the EU Edition with medium rigidity is usually the better starting point; use hard versions if you move to foam tyres.
