Micro adjustment shims for controlled setup

The XRAY 302542 steel shim is tailored for the X4F 2026 platform. At 3x4.5x2.1mm and finished in black, these shims let you make small but critical spacing changes to improve component alignment and setup repeatability.

Can I stack multiple shims?

Stacking is possible to reach the desired thickness, but confirm that stacked shims do not create side loading or interference with bearings and seals.

Do these shims change handling much?

Small spacing changes can influence steering and drivetrain behaviour; use incremental adjustments and test on the track to judge effect on handling.

What tools are recommended?

A precision caliper, small pick or tweezers and a hobby screwdriver set will make positioning and securing these shims straightforward.
