Steering shim for T2 and T3 using XRAY 302665

The XRAY 302665 Composite Ball Joint is a compact set of four ball joints made for accurate steering geometry and long service life. Each unit accepts a 5mm pivot ball and adapts well to the rigours of both club and track running on T2 and T3 cars.

Closed profile for grit protection

The closed profile keeps the ball end sheltered from dust and track debris, lowering wear on moving surfaces. The access hole makes mounting and removal straightforward, shortening routine teardown and rebuild times. The design also ensures unhindered motion of upper camber links for predictable handling.

Choosing compatible ball ends

Pair these joints with the XRAY ball ends #302653, #302654, or #302655 to get correct link lengths for front or rear mounting. Matching the right ball end helps preserve intended suspension travel and alignment settings.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are optimised for XRAY 5mm pivot balls and ball ends; some third-party studs with identical dimensions may fit but performance is best with the XRAY-matched parts.
The sealed design prevents contamination while still allowing smooth articulation of the camber links, so handling remains consistent session to session when the joints are kept clean.
Inspect the joints after heavy practice or wet running and clean any surface grit. A light relube if movement feels stiff will keep the joints working reliably.
