Stiffer rear mounting for the XRAY X4

Refine your XRAY X4 handling with the aluminium rear shock holder designed for precise suspension control. Built from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, the part offers a good strength to weight balance suited for competitive tuning.

Shim-adjustable shock geometry

The design allows you to alter shock angles with shims so you can tweak entry and exit behaviour. Moving the shock 3mm lower improves the car's centre of gravity, helping corner speed and reducing traction-related roll when grip is high.

Fixed mount or floating pivot

Choose between a solid fixed mount or an active floating setup by removing the M3x8 screw. The floating option lets the bracket pivot, softening rear damping and boosting rotation when the track surface generates strong traction.

Durable finish and fitment

Manufactured from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and black anodised for a long life, the pair of holders install at the rear of the XRAY X4 chassis and are built to resist race wear.

How do shims change handling?

Shims alter the shock angle, which changes the roll centre and weight transfer. Small shim changes can tighten or loosen corner entry depending on setup direction.

Is the anodising purely cosmetic?

The black anodised finish protects the aluminium from abrasion and corrosion while keeping a low profile look; it also reduces visible wear over time.

Will this change my shock lengths or droop?

No change to shock length is required; the holders reposition the lower mount point without altering the shock bodies, so droop and travel remain compatible with standard setups.
