XRAY 303004 Brass Plate to Balance Your T4'18

The XRAY 303004 brass motor mount plate is a practical tuning part for the T4'18 chassis. Crafted from solid brass, it takes the place of the aluminium unit and adds approximately 4 g at the centreline to help even out weight distribution and reduce unwanted chassis flex for steadier on-track performance.

Rear Hole Layout to Improve Rear Bite

The plate features additional mounting holes positioned rearward on the chassis to shift ballast rearwards and increase rear traction. That layout helps deliver more predictable corner exits and easier throttle control on smooth surfaces.

Will this affect tyre wear or handling balance?

Adding mass at the centreline changes how weight transfers; you may see small changes in tyre load patterns and a more neutral balance, which can reduce sudden snap under throttle.

Can I reuse my existing motor mount screws with the XRAY 303004?

In most cases the original hardware fits, but inspect screw length and use threadlocker if the screws engage brass into aluminium to prevent loosening.

Yes. It is useful for both practice and race days where small balance changes can improve consistency and traction without drastic setup changes.
