Can this bulkhead be used with my modified rear arm setup?

It is designed for the original rear mounting layout. If your rear arm mods retain those mount points it will work, otherwise minor adjustments may be needed.

Does aluminium change maintenance needs?

Aluminium is durable but inspect screw torque regularly and use threadlocker where appropriate to prevent loosening during heavy use.

Is painting or anodising necessary?

Surface finish is optional and cosmetic. Anodising can protect the part further and match your car's look, but it does not affect fit or function.
