Service Notes for XRAY T Series 305240 Caps

Owners of earlier XRAY T Series models will find the XRAY 305240 3 mm plastic cap useful for routine upkeep. These caps help shield the drive shaft tips from grime and abrasion so your drivetrain runs cleaner between services.

Why Use These Caps

Specifically suited to the Vintage iterations of the older T Series, the XRAY 305240 caps reduce direct wear on exposed shaft ends. They are a low-cost way to preserve parts that can be costly or awkward to replace later.

Simple Fitment Steps

Replace caps on a clean bench, remove the old worn cap, check the shaft for damage, then press the new XRAY 305240 cap into place. No specialised tools are usually required, just steady hands and a visual check.

Model Fit and Function

The caps are broadly compatible across several legacy T Series models. Keep a set in your spares kit for trackside fixes or scheduled maintenance sessions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
These caps were produced for older T Series Vintage models and may not suit current revisions. Check shaft diameter and cap seat before assuming compatibility.
The caps are primarily protective. Use light grease on mating parts only where recommended by your chassis manual; the cap itself does not usually require lubrication.
Many hobbyists can press them on by hand. If tight, use a soft driver or socket to seat evenly without distorting the cap.
Inspect the drive shaft for scoring, play at joints, and any damaged retaining features. Replacing the cap is a good time to address those issues.
