Slimmed pinion for improved drivetrain feel

The XRAY 305928 narrow pinion gear is designed to sharpen drivetrain efficiency without adding bulk. Fabricated from aircraft-grade duraluminum, it is 1.5mm slimmer and roughly 25% lighter than conventional pinions, lowering inertia while maintaining rigidity.

Precision machining for true running

Made on XRAY's specially adapted precision gear machines, each pinion is produced to very tight tolerances to ensure superior concentricity. Tooth edges are chamfered and each gear receives a running-in procedure. The hardcoat surface treatment helps preserve shape and resist wear.

Compatible gearing with reduced chatter

Engineered to mesh cleanly with any spur gear and particularly well with XRAY spur gears, this narrow pinion helps cut throttle on/off noise, resulting in a smoother, less intrusive drivetrain sound.
