For builders refining geartrain performance, the XRAY 305972 Narrow Pinion Gear offers notable weight savings and tighter tolerances. Crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum, this pinion is 1.5mm slimmer and around 25% lighter than common alternatives, helping reduce rotating mass.

Engineered for Concentricity

Cut on a specially modified precision gear machine, the pinion achieves excellent concentricity and close tolerances. Each item is chamfered post-machining and run-in to stabilise contact, and the hardcoat increases surface hardness for extended use.

Suitable Mesh and Lower Noise

This narrow pinion is compatible with most spur gears and pairs especially well with XRAY spurs, which helps cut throttle on/off noise and gives a cleaner, more reliable engagement out of the box.
