The XRAY 305977 Narrow Pinion Gear uses aircraft-grade duraluminum to offer a slim, race-minded option for RC cars. Being 1.5mm thinner and about 25% lighter than typical pinions, it reduces rotating mass for improved throttle response and efficiency.

Tight Tolerances from Specialized Gear Cutting

Produced on XRAY's specially-modified precision gear machine, this pinion is finished to exacting tolerances for consistent concentricity. Chamfered edges and a hard coating increase longevity and help the gear keep its true form under load.

Engineered to Work with Spur Gears

Optimised to mesh with spur gears, the narrow profile partners especially well with XRAY spur components to reduce on/off chatter and produce a quieter, more efficient drive. The part is ready to fit straight from the package.
