Forged from aircraft-grade duraluminium, the XRAY 305988 Narrow Pinion provides a lighter alternative for racers seeking reduced rotating inertia. It is 1.5mm slimmer and roughly 25 percent lighter than typical pinions, improving throttle response and efficiency.

High Tolerance Gear Cutting

XRAY uses a specially adapted precision gear machine to maintain tight tolerances and maximise concentricity. Every tooth and edge is chamfered and each gear is run-in to secure correct alignment and dependable service life.

Hardcoat Surface for Wear Resistance

The XRAY 305988 is supplied with a hardcoat treatment that preserves the gear profile across extended use and helps keep drivetrain noise down when paired with XRAY spur gears.
