X4F Floating Servo Holder Design

The XRAY 306236 X4F Graphite Floating Servo Holder is engineered for front-wheel-drive competition cars where compact packaging matters. It is shaped to take low-profile shorty batteries and seat them directly behind the servo to maximise usable space on the X4F platform. That forward positioning helps the car maintain a predictable weight bias.

Secure Battery Cradle

The built-in battery pocket prevents unwanted pack movement during cornering and hard acceleration. Made from 3.0mm graphite, the holder balances strength and lightness so the chassis stays responsive while resisting flex in demanding track conditions.

Can I use this on a converted X4 model?

If the conversion preserves X4F servo and battery geometry it may fit, but always measure mounting points and clearances before assuming compatibility.

Does the graphite thickness affect handling?

Yes. The 3.0mm graphite adds torsional stiffness around the servo and battery area, which can reduce unwanted flex and make chassis responses cleaner at speed.

What fasteners should I use when fitting it?

Use the OEM screws or equivalent grade hardware. Avoid over-tightening which can crush the graphite; torque to a firm but not excessive feel and check for binding.
