Refine XRAY 308092 T4 damping with compact foam inserts

Drivers aiming to dial in suspension balance will find the XRAY 308092 T4 foam inserts a useful tuning part. These low-profile foams are positioned between the shock upper mount and the rubber membrane to improve rebound control on SLP shocks. Designed to be used alongside #308082 Shock Membranes, they help create repeatable shock behaviour.

Despite their size, these inserts make it easier to achieve finer rebound adjustments, letting you adapt setups for varying track surfaces. The slim design integrates with Super Low Profile shock assemblies to keep the damping consistent through different lines and bumps.

Compatibility and Quick Fit

The inserts are intended for XRAY Super Low Profile shocks and require #308082 Shock Membranes for proper installation. They are straightforward to fit and come as a set of four so you can update all four corners without extra parts.

No, the inserts are designed to change rebound behaviour only and do not affect static ride height when fitted correctly with #308082 membranes.

They can tolerate some oil, but prolonged exposure can degrade foam performance. Inspect and replace if the foam becomes saturated or loses shape.

Will these affect corner entry or mid-corner balance?

Yes, by refining rebound you can influence how quickly the chassis settles after compression, which can improve corner entry stability and mid-corner balance when dialled in with other shock settings.
