Precision Design for Corner Composure

The XRAY 308307-O T4 Aluminum Shock Absorbers are built to drop the centre of gravity on electric touring cars, helping the chassis stay composed through fast corners. The orange hard-anodised finish resists wear and keeps the shocks looking tidy after track sessions.

Tuned Components for Track Use

The Super Low Profile (SLP) form helps maintain a flatter chassis and reduces the risk of traction-induced rollovers. Each shock accepts replaceable internals and fixed precision pistons with options of 3 or 4 holes, and piston diameters of 1.0mm, 1.1mm, and 1.2mm to tailor damping to different surfaces.

Kit Contents and Notes

This set supplies all parts needed to assemble two dampers. Springs and shock oil are sold separately and must be acquired to finish the install. The precision pistons are moulded to ensure smooth travel and reliable damping response.

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Can I use these shocks on a converted chassis?

You can fit these to other touring chassis if mounting and stroke requirements match. Confirm dimensions and clearances before swapping to avoid interference with other components.

How do piston hole choices affect handling?

Smaller or fewer holes increase damping and slow chassis movement, while larger or more holes reduce damping for quicker weight transfer. Use the 1.0mm-1.2mm pistons and 3/4 hole options to tune balance.

Is the orange finish more than cosmetic?

The orange finish is anodised and hard-coated to add corrosion resistance and wear protection in addition to visual appeal.

Do I need special tools to assemble these shocks?

Basic hobby tools are sufficient for assembly, but a shock building kit and a shock stand will make filling and tuning easier and more consistent.
