The XRAY 309002 14-piece ceramic bearing set is aimed at hobbyists wanting smoother drivetrain operation. Specifically made to suit XRAY T2 and T3 models, the set includes ten 5x10x4mm bearings and four 10x15x4mm bearings for common shaft and hub locations.

Performance Gains

Ceramic bearings cut down on rotational mass compared with steel, helping motors spin more freely and reducing heat buildup under load. That results in steadier lap times and quieter running, while ceramic material gives better resistance to rust and surface wear.

Build and Lubrication

These XRAY 309002 bearings use Si3N4 silicone nitride ceramic balls and arrive degreased with a light application of AeroShell Fluid 12 oil. That preparation provides low friction straight out of the pack while preserving bearing life through many runs.

Are these a direct swap for stock bearings?

If your car uses 5x10x4mm and 10x15x4mm bearings in the relevant positions, the XRAY 309002 set will fit. Always check the parts list for the correct sizes before replacing bearings.

Can I run these on damp or dusty tracks?

Ceramic resists corrosion better than steel, but bearings still need cleaning after wet or dusty sessions. Wipe, clean with a bearing solvent, and relube lightly to keep performance consistent.

Do they require special tools to install?

Installation is the same as for steel bearings. Use a soft press tool or socket to avoid damaging the bearing races and ensure they seat squarely in the hub or shaft.
