Fine Tuning Kit for XRAY X4 Motor Mount

These nickel-coated brass weights are intended for riders who want to tweak balance on their XRAY X4. The trio of weights, 4g, 4g and 8g, installs on the motor mount and is designed to avoid altering chassis flex or upsetting mass distribution.

Positioning for Stable Mid-Corner Behaviour

Fitting the weights centrally on the motor mount helps keep the car balanced from front to rear, improving neutrality through bends. They sit close to the chassis centre and fasten down with 2.5x8mm screws for a reliable attachment through rough tracks.

Durable Finish and Accurate Mass

Manufactured from brass with a nickel finish, each weight is machined to consistent tolerances to ensure predictable balance changes. The plating adds corrosion resistance and a neat visual touch that holds up over time.

Will these weights change my car's flex characteristics?

No major change to flex. They concentrate mass on the motor mount without modifying chassis stiffness, so handling changes come from balance rather than flex.

Are the weights pre-threaded or do I need inserts?

The package is designed for bolt-on installation using 2.5x8mm screws; no extra inserts are required for the XRAY X4 motor mount.

Should I try different weight combinations on the track?

Yes. Try the 4g pair first then add the 8g to feel progressive effects on turn-in and traction, adjusting by small increments to suit track grip.
