The XRAY 321113 long chassis is developed for the XB2'22 and Xt2'22 cars. Cut from 2.5mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, it strikes a practical balance between durability and controlled flex. Bent side contours influence local flex behaviour to aid chassis balance and reduce the centre of gravity for improved cornering.
High precision machining keeps the plate stiff where needed and compliant where useful. The front zone is shaped to allow increased flex for sharper steering response while also offering a tidy layout for electronics. Two separate mounting hole rows make it simple to shift mass using optional weight packs or an electronics mounting plate.
A shortened rear section lets the suspension holder attach directly to the gearbox, independent of the chassis plate. This layout cuts unnecessary weight and provides a more direct suspension path for improved rear traction and handling feedback.
A practical upgrade for hobbyists aiming to refine chassis flex and handling while keeping weight to a minimum.
