Slimline lower body for short-shock setups

The XRAY 329723 lower body is an RC replacement panel crafted for 1/10 2WD stadium truck platforms. The shell geometry is adapted for shorter shock absorbers and a reduced shock tower profile so the body can locate lower on the chassis without compromising suspension movement.

Mount points are shifted and the front and rear cut lines refined to ensure an accurate fit on the intended chassis. The provided trimming template lines up with standard factory marks to streamline preparation and maintain clearance around suspension components and body posts.

Produced from lightweight Lexan, the panel lowers mass while preserving predictable on-track behavior; the lower mounting position reduces the effective center of gravity, improving stability and helping to limit body roll during cornering.

Despite its reduced mass, the Lexan construction maintains strong impact resistance typical of polycarbonate bodies; severe impacts can still cause damage, so inspect after heavy hits.
Lower mounting can expose the shell to different impact vectors, but proper trimming and using recommended shock lengths will minimise stress points and reduce cracking risk.
Yes, interior reinforcements such as lightweight tape or thin polycarbonate patches can strengthen common stress zones without adding significant weight.
Inspect mounting holes, trimming edges, and areas around the wheel wells for cracks or deformation and repair or replace the shell if structural integrity is compromised.
Proper polycarbonate paints applied in thin layers do not significantly reduce toughness; avoid heavy, rigid finishes that could encourage cracking at trimmed edges.
