High Precision Dampers for NT1

Made for the NT1 platform, the XRAY 338001-O Aluminium Shock Absorber Set enhances handling and tyre contact. The longer shock bodies and shafts extend travel and help maintain responsive steering through corners.

Piston Configurations and Tuning

Pistons are produced in white Delrin for excellent concentricity and smooth operation. You can choose 2-hole or 3-hole pistons in 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2mm sizes to dial in damping for different surfaces and driving techniques.

Sturdy Construction with Fine Adjustment

Constructed from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and CNC-machined, these shock bodies are hardened for lasting performance. The visible fine-thread collars allow quick ride height and preload changes, and the low-profile membranes keep damping consistent at speed.

Installation and Compatibility

Fitting the XRAY 338001-O to an NT1 2013 Specs chassis requires part numbers #332080 and #333080 for the shock towers. For RX8 2013 Specs, install using #342080 and #343082 towers to achieve correct fitment.

Yes, the range of piston sizes lets you tune damping for low grip carpet or higher grip tarmac. Adjust oil weight and piston choice to suit the surface.
They may be delivered dry depending on the seller. It is common to assemble and fill them with your preferred shock oil and pistons to match track conditions.
These are designed for NT1 2013 Specs with the correct tower parts. Check clearance and mounting points before fitting on older variants.
Regularly clean seals, inspect shafts for burrs, replace membranes as needed, and use clean shock oil to keep damping consistent and parts lasting longer.
