XRAY 341102 Swiss 5mm chassis for refined vintage handling

The XRAY 341102 aluminum chassis is precision CNC machined from 5mm Swiss 7075 T6, offering a lightweight yet robust base plate. It is crafted to deliver more predictable steering and smoother handling on RX Series vintage builds.

Front-end geometry for steadier steering

A widened front section reduces sudden twitch and improves directional stability. Strategically placed grooves allow different engine set ups, including standard and compact 2-speed units. The updated front middle shaft holder and dual servo saver holes simplify Ackermann adjustments for quick on-track setup changes.

Smart weight layout and reinforcement options

Material is removed mainly from low load areas to preserve strength where it matters. Multiple weight holes on the right side let you fine tune balance and the center of gravity (CG). There is also provision for inserting graphite plates to stiffen the chassis when required.

Smooth belly pan and chamfered edges

All screw holes are countersunk to maintain a flat underside, while chamfered outer edges produce a cleaner lower profile that resists snags. Small longitudinal bends from the milling process can appear but do not impair handling.

Yes, the machined grooves allow engine placement for both standard and small 2-speed gearboxes without major modification.
Use the two servo saver holes and the front middle shaft holder to change steering geometry; small changes can noticeably affect turn-in.
Yes. The right side has multiple mounting holes for added weights so you can move the center of gravity to suit track conditions.
Minor longitudinal bending can occur due to machining stresses, but it is cosmetic and does not compromise performance.
