Track-Grade XRAY 341107 Chassis

The XRAY 341107 chassis is CNC cut from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium at 5mm thickness to sharpen handling on RX8E.3 cars. Its construction focuses on repeatable performance and dependable stiffness with tuned flex points.

Rear Narrowing to Improve Grip

This design narrows the rear by bringing the bulkheads 8.4mm closer together, while rear arm mounts are moved 2.5mm to increase rear-end traction and stability. A removable aluminium brace at the front gives easy access to change front flex characteristics.

Enhanced Flex Where It Counts

The slimmer rear section adds useful chassis flex that increases traction and steering bite without causing rubbing in corners. Adjustable weight mounts let you alter left-right balance quickly to match track surface and tyre choice.

Does the narrower rear affect tyre wear?

The increased traction can change how tyres load in corners. Expect slightly different wear patterns; fine-tune camber and toe to manage tyre life.

Is the chassis corrosion resistant?

Swiss 7075 T6 is a high-strength aluminium alloy. It is durable but you should keep it clean and dry after running to prevent surface oxidation and maintain finish.

Will electronics placement need changing?

Depending on your setup, moving batteries or electronics slightly can help exploit the chassis weight positions for better handling balance.
