Race-focused rear CVD axle with tight tolerances

The XRAY 345312 Aluminum Rear CVD Drive Axle fits the RX8 chassis and is machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium to offer a rigid, low-mass unit. The hard-coated finish resists wear and keeps service intervals down for busy racers.

Premium alloy for better handling

Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium provides a favourable strength-to-weight ratio that supports sharper handling and more predictable responses under load. That material choice helps maintain chassis balance while trimming unsprung mass.

Built for club and circuit competition

The light but stiff design of the XRAY 345312 enhances acceleration and mid-corner stability in competitive settings. It is suitable for racers who demand consistent performance lap after lap.

Remark :

Installation typically uses standard RC tools. A torque driver and small hex keys are useful for achieving correct fastener torque and alignment.
Because it reduces rotating mass, the axle can make the rear end feel more responsive. Minor setup adjustments may be needed to restore preferred handling characteristics.
Aluminium 7075 offers a better strength-to-weight tradeoff versus steel, so you get lower weight with high rigidity, though steel may resist some impact types differently.
