The XRAY 348502 XCA reverse clutch brings a compact, race-oriented solution to NT1 transmissions, combining smaller NT1 gear geometry with a sturdy 4-bearing clutchbell support to enhance service life and drivetrain efficiency.

High Strength Materials and Lightweight Alloy Parts

Wear-prone items like the clutchbell, clutch nut, flywheel nut, and thrustbearing collar use HUDY Spring Steel to resist fatigue. Critical rotating pieces such as the flywheel, clutch disc, and spring cup are produced from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, balancing low mass and toughness for improved throttle response and longevity.

User Friendly Tuning and Consistent Spring Action

The design of the clutch bell and nut lets drivers dial in clutch clearance without hassle. The Ultra Stable Clutch Spring emulates the #348540 Conical Clutch Washer Spring Set and ships pre-compressed to reduce spring set and keep engagement behaviour consistent across sessions.

Inspect mating surfaces for wear and keep parts clean of grit; light lubrication where specified will help prevent premature wear without affecting clutch action.

Does the spring need bedding in?

The spring is pre-compressed to limit deformation, so basic break-in runs are usually sufficient before final clutch tuning.

Will lighter flywheels change handling?

Reduced rotating mass from 7075 T6 parts sharpens acceleration and engine response; you may notice different throttle modulation compared with heavier stock flywheels.
