XRAY 350200 XT8 Performance Summary

Built for drivers focused on lap time and consistency, the XRAY 350200 XT8 brings precision to truggy racing. Designed by Dipl. Eng. Hudy Juraj, this 1/8 nitro truggy inherits development experience from the XRAY XB8 to create a sharp handling race platform.

Track-Focused Setup

The suspension geometry and drivetrain ratio are chosen to give predictable handling and quick response. With a low center of gravity and carefully balanced weight, the XT8 handles jumps and rough patches with control and repeatability.

CNC Chassis Details

The chassis uses Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, CNC-machined to reduce weight while keeping rigidity. Machining patterns reduce ride height and countersunk fasteners keep the underside smooth. Strong composite guards shield electronics and moving parts.

Suspension and Power Delivery

Fine tuning is possible with XRAY I.S.S. and I.A.C. adjustments, letting you alter roll center and caster to suit different soil and layout conditions. Hudy Spring Steel drivetrain parts deliver a light yet reliable power transfer, supported by 22 sealed bearings for low friction.

Is the XT8 kit ready for events out of the box?

The kit requires full assembly and electronics installation. Once built and properly tuned it is ready for competition, but expect setup work at the track for best results.

What bearings are used and can they be upgraded?

The car ships with 22 rubber-sealed bearings for smooth operation. You can upgrade to ceramic bearings if you want reduced friction and longer service life under racing conditions.

How do I adjust ride height and handling?

Adjust shock preload, spring rates and I.S.S. settings to change ride height and roll behavior. Small incremental changes are best to tune handling without destabilizing balance.
