The XRAY 351108 aluminium chassis brings CNC accuracy to the XB8 platform. Cut from 3mm Swiss 7075 T6, it strikes a balance between stiffness and minimal weight. Strategic milling around less-stressed areas and an anodized hardcoat deliver tidy looks and refined handling for club and track use.

Tuned Balance and Low Centre of Gravity

Careful attention to mass distribution, width and length helps the chassis deliver predictable handling. Excess material is removed beneath the engine, fuel tank and differential to lower the centre of gravity and tune flex characteristics. Countersunk holes on the underside result in a smooth base that reduces hang-ups and helps straight-line speed.

7075 Alloy Strength and Coating Notes

Swiss 7075 T6 is valued for its high modulus and fatigue resistance, making it ideal for performance chassis work. During hardcoating, tiny surface fissures can appear in very stressed zones; these are normal and do not impair the chassis function or longevity.
