Track-focused aluminium plate for XB8E'16

The XRAY 351111 XB8E'16 Aluminum Chassis brings CNC precision and premium Swiss 7075 T6 alloy to tuned XB8E'16 builds. It is engineered to offer a reliable mix of rigidity and controlled flex for competitive handling.

Geometry refined for predictable handling

Design changes narrow the front section to sharpen turn-in and broaden the rear for better traction on exits. The 4mm shorter overall length shifts mass forward to improve rotation, while component placement for the engine, radio box, fuel tank and centre differential is optimised for balanced behaviour.

Precision machining with protective finish

The 3mm thick chassis is CNC machined to tight specs to avoid stress concentrations while keeping torsional stiffness. Anodising protects the surface and trims unnecessary grams, contributing to a lower centre of gravity and consistent chassis response.

Assembly tips and compatibility

Use the #351159 XB8 Composite Chassis Side Guards L+R when fitting this chassis. Remember that tiny cracks can appear around high-stress areas after hardcoating on Swiss 7075 T6; these are cosmetic and do not compromise the chassis lifespan.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Shortening the chassis moves weight forward, which helps initial turn-in and can make the car more responsive in tight corners.
Standard RC setup tools are sufficient, but precise torque control and alignment during installation will ensure correct chassis behaviour.
Consider tuning suspension components such as shocks and anti-roll bars to match the stiffer plate and achieve the desired balance for your track.
