Engineered XRAY XT8 Chassis for a Lower Centre of Gravity

The XRAY 351120 XT8 chassis uses Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium with a hardcoat finish and precise CNC machining. Material is removed where loads are low to keep mass down, particularly under the engine, fuel tank and differentials, resulting in a lower centre of gravity and steadier handling on mixed surfaces.

Centralised Layout for Consistent Balance

By keeping key components close to the centreline, this chassis delivers balanced side-to-side weight distribution for predictable steering response. Countersunk screw holes ensure the chassis underside remains flush and free from protrusions that could catch or disturb airflow.

Factory Hardcoating and Practical Notes

The hardcoat is applied in a robotic plant to maintain consistency across batches. Minor cracking near cutouts can occur from material tension during coating but these marks do not affect the chassis function or lifespan.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Routine cleaning and checking fasteners is sufficient; aluminium does not need special care beyond removing grit and re-torquing screws after a few runs.
Yes. The chassis is compatible with the XT8 series layout, and it works well with contemporary engine and suspension upgrades that follow the XT8 mounting points.
The hardcoat adds negligible mass compared with the structural benefits it provides, so handling gains are preserved while surface durability improves.
Edges are finished during production and countersunk holes reduce snag points; any minor burrs can be lightly deburred by the user if desired.
