XRAY 351123 XT8 chassis for balanced on-track behaviour

The XRAY 351123 XT8 Aluminum Chassis is made to improve vehicle balance and rotation for smoother lap-to-lap consistency. Crafted from Swiss 7075 T6 and finished with a hard coat at 3mm, it delivers solid rigidity for demanding racing environments.

Weight placement that aids rotation and jumps

This chassis places a little more mass toward the front to enhance rotation and more controlled jump landings. The design keeps lateral balance steady so the car behaves predictably whether accelerating, turning or airborne.

Accurate CNC work for tuned flex

Precision machining removes excess material under critical components to lower the centre of mass and manage chassis flex. The trimmed areas are deliberate to create a consistent response across different track conditions.

Notes on material behaviour

7075 T6 is very stiff, so fine cracks can appear at edges or openings due to machining stresses. These are usually superficial and do not affect use. Slight longitudinal bending can also be present because of the nature of machined aluminum plate.

Edge or cutout cracks are commonly caused by machining and stress relief in hard aluminum. They are typically cosmetic and do not indicate imminent failure if they remain small.
Yes, you can tune suspension geometry, spring rates and shock settings to compensate for a stiff chassis. Those changes let you recover desired feel without modifying the plate.
Small lengthwise bowing is normal after machining and usually does not affect fitment or performance. If the bowing interferes with components, consider inspection or replacement.
