High-Precision XRAY GTx8.2 Chassis Designed for Tunable Balance

The XRAY 351132 GTx8.2 chassis is a precision upgrade for drivers demanding consistent track behaviour and robust construction. Fabricated from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium at 3mm thickness, it maintains stiffness where needed while shedding weight elsewhere. It is compatible with both Soft and Hard composite radio boxes without any alterations, ensuring straightforward fitment.

CNC Optimised Layout for Track Performance

CNC work removes material from low-load areas to sharpen responsiveness while preserving strength in critical zones. An anodised finish adds protection against wear and keeps the chassis looking tidy. Removing non-essential material under the engine, fuel tank and differential drops the centre of gravity, which enhances grip and control through fast corners.

Remark :

Most standard GTx8.2 mounting points are preserved, so your existing mounts and brackets should fit without modification. Verify screw lengths before final assembly.
The anodised finish resists everyday wear and helps protect the alloy, but you should avoid deep impacts and clean abrasive debris after outdoor sessions.
Altering flex may need adjustments to shock settings and anti-roll balance to maintain predictable handling across corners.
Less mass in non-critical areas improves rotation and responsiveness, which can translate to better traction when the setup is tuned correctly.
