Flexible Narrow Chassis Guards

Designed specifically for narrow-layout chassis arrangements and a lowered battery mount, these soft-composite side guards provide increased compliance to bias the car toward improved traction on low-grip surfaces. Compared to the kit components, the softer material allows more controlled flex and alters how load moves across the chassis during cornering.

The guards preserve kit geometry for proper sealing and protection, helping keep dirt away from electronics and the battery area. They are a tuning part to adjust vehicle balance and forward bite, not a guaranteed replacement for all standard composite guards.

Mounting is straightforward and uses the same fasteners and sequence as the original guards for the narrow layout with lower battery position. Introduce the change progressively and pair with spring and anti-roll bar tweaks to refine handling one axle at a time.

Because the guards add compliance, start with slightly firmer front springs or increase front roll resistance to regain responsiveness, then adjust progressively while testing laps.
They tend to bias the chassis toward forward traction, which can make corner exit feel more stable but a touch less immediate at the limit; tune toe and diff settings if needed.
They are intended for the lower battery position paired with a narrow layout; verify your chassis layout matches before fitting.
Test changes one axle at a time, record lap times and driver feel, and combine guard swaps with incremental spring and bar adjustments to identify the best balance.
