The XRAY 351353 carbon upper plate is developed for flat chassis GT arrangements to reinforce the servo saver area. Its primary role is to reduce movement at the saver mount, giving steadier steering feedback while preserving the chassis' baseline flex.

Quality carbon components resist delamination under normal RC loads, but heavy impacts can damage the laminate. Inspect the plate after any crash and replace if you see cracking or separation.
Carbon behaves differently to metals: it offers high stiffness-to-weight and will show cracking under overload rather than bending. For repeated track use, monitor condition but expect strong performance in the servo saver role.
