The XRAY 352656 ball stud, 6.8mm in diameter and fitted with a backstop, uses HUDY Spring Steel for superior toughness. Its 13mm thread length is intended for the aluminium rear upright 353358 and helps you dial in roll centre changes with confidence.

Strength and setup flexibility

Extra heat treatment boosts the studs resilience under load. The longer thread makes it easy to add shims and adjust ride geometry. Supplied as two pieces, they are a practical upgrade for older XB Series or vintage kits needing stronger link hardware.

Will these work with other ball cups?

They should mate with standard 6.8mm ball cups, but verify cup inner clearance and that the backstop does not interfere with the linkage travel before final assembly.

Do these require special tools to fit?

No special tools are needed beyond a suitable spanner or driver for the nut. Fit by hand first to avoid cross threading and then tighten to a secure fit without over-torquing.
