Precision rear hub carrier for XB808 from XRAY

Designed for 1:8 off-road rigs, the XRAY 353357 Aluminum Adjustable Rear Hub Carrier uses Swiss 7075 T6 material for a robust, long-lived upgrade. The hard-coated finish reduces surface wear and keeps the part running true through heavy use.

Multiple upper link points for handling control

The carrier features three upper linkage positions so you can change roll-center geometry without guesswork. Included aluminum shims (sizes 4x7.5x1 and 4x7.5x2) provide precise incremental changes to tune corner behaviour.

Bearing support via composite bushings

Composite bushings secure the bearings at each side of the carrier, delivering consistent alignment and smoother rotation. This design decreases bearing friction and wear when compared to direct metal-to-bearing contact.

Selectable composite roll center inserts

Composite roll center inserts can be fitted in two orientations to suit different surfaces. The upper orientation adds a +2mm roll center gain while the lower position returns the component to the standard composite setting for neutral handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Installation is straightforward for anyone familiar with basic rear hub work. Remove the stock carrier, transfer bearings if needed, then fit the XRAY carrier using the original hardware and check wheel alignment after assembly.
Shims allow subtle adjustments rather than drastic changes. Use them to trim minor understeer or oversteer; combined with different upper link holes they give useful tuning range without destabilising the chassis.
Regularly check bushings and bearings for play, keep the hard-coated surface free of grit, and relube bearings as part of routine service to preserve smooth operation and prevent premature wear.
