Centre mounting front brace tailored for GTX 2026

This carbon centre mounting front brace is an RC-scale chassis piece that links the front bulkhead to the centre two-speed transmission stack on GTX flat chassis arrangements. It is intended to influence chassis flex so front-end response stays repeatable when setups or track surfaces vary.

Fabricated from carbon fiber, the component adds torsional stiffness with very little weight penalty to improve steering consistency and balance. Tuners use it as a setup variable: altering brace position or angle changes how loads move through the chassis during cornering and over bumps.

Fitting is direct on compatible GTX 2026 layouts where the brace sits between the front bulkhead and centre transmission assembly. Because it ties into key structure points, confirm fastener torque and clearance during installation to preserve the designed flex characteristics.

Specifications

  • Material Carbon fiber
  • Model Number 354257
  • Compatibility GTX 2026

Treat the brace as one tuning tool among many: alter only one parameter at a time and note handling changes so you can identify the preferred setup for front grip and steering precision.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
While some GTX variants share similar architecture, the brace is specified for GTX 2026. Check the front bulkhead and centre stack geometry on older chassis before attempting fitment.
Expect reduced local flex at the front and a more consistent steering feel. That often results in cleaner turn-in and steadier behaviour through mid-corner, depending on other setup choices.
Stock fasteners normally work, but if you upgrade to lighter or higher strength screws, ensure proper length and torque to avoid stress points on the carbon mounting faces.
Keep a setup notebook and lap times. Change brace position or orientation in measured steps and compare lap consistency, steering trajectory, and tyre wear to assess benefits.
Regularly check for surface cracks, delamination, and secure mounting; clean contact surfaces and ensure screw heads do not dig into the laminate over time.
