Refine XB808 traction with the XRAY 355103 centre differential

The XRAY 355103 XB808 Adjustable Active Center Differential brings adjustable centre traction to the XB808 platform, helping drivers manage grip on tacky off-road surfaces. Its internal layout lets you tailor both on-power and off-power characteristics to suit conditions.

Robust composite housing and optimised outdrives

Built from XRAY's heat resistant composite, the diff body keeps its shape under intense running. A molded steel diff outdrive ring ensures reliable seating and HUDY toughened steel outdrives are CNC finished and lightened to minimise inertia while keeping strength high.

High-grade gears with identifiable marking

The die-cast steel internals are heat treated for longevity and the HUDY steel diff gear is manufactured to tight tolerances. The gear is laser marked "Active 42T" for easy identification and can be swapped with 41T or 43T gears for different behaviour.

Selectable segment profiles for different grip levels

Active Diff segments are CNC-machined from strong steel and cut with precise V-ramps to control engagement. The kit uses a 90 degree segment by default, with a 120 degree option available for smoother engagement on lower grip tracks.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes, it is designed for the XRAY XB808 series and installs into the standard centre diff location using the stock mounting points.
On high-traction surfaces like carpet, try the 42T as a starting point and experiment with 41T or 43T to fine tune spin and drive balance depending on how the car rotates.
Yes, the centre diff accepts a range of diff lubricants. Lighter oils give more slip, heavier oils increase lockup. Match oil choice with segment angle and gear selection for the best result.
Inspect gears and outdrives after heavy sessions or if you notice handling changes. Look for wear, chips, or play and replace worn parts to avoid performance loss.
