Rear Drive Refinement with XRAY CVD 355609

The XRAY 355609 CVD Rear Universal Central Drive Shaft Set is designed to sharpen rear driveline behaviour on older XB Series machines. Built from Hudy Spring Steel, the kit links centre and rear differentials with accurate geometry while trimming rotational mass to improve corner exit and mid corner balance.

Built for Durable Track Use

This driveshaft set balances lightness and toughness by removing excess material in non structural zones while retaining core strength. The Hudy Spring Steel construction stands up to repeated load cycles and each component can be rebuilt or replaced to keep the car on the road longer.

Is XRAY 355609 compatible with all XB variants?

It fits the vintage XB Series designs it was made for, but check your chassis mounting and driveline layout to make sure there are no clearance issues.

The kit is serviceable: you can replace cups, pins, bearings and other wear items rather than discarding the whole shaft.

What grease works best on the joints?

A light synthetic bearing grease or a thin moly paste is recommended to protect contact surfaces without adding drag.

Any tips for fitting the shafts?

Check alignment and rotate the drivetrain by hand after assembly to catch binding, and torque fasteners to manufacturer specs.
