Landing Control with XRAY 358028

For hobbyists focused on suspension tuning, the XRAY 358028 piston set brings controlled damping to your shocks. Manufactured from Delrin, the pistons offer low friction and durable surfaces to keep shock action consistent lap after lap.

How the Two-Way Flow Works

Each piston is drilled with six 1.3mm holes plus two 1.1mm holes to change oil flow by stroke direction. A rubber valve closes two holes during upward motion, while downward motion opens all eight holes so the pistons deliver softer compression and managed rebound for cleaner landings.

Consistent Shape for Predictable Damping

Produced with careful molding, these pistons maintain roundness to minimise binding in the shock tube. That accuracy helps all four dampers behave the same, which simplifies setup and improves handling on jumps and rough surfaces.

Specifications

A practical upgrade for drivers who want reliable piston action to fine tune landing feel without changing spring rates.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Oil choice depends on spring and track. Start with a mid-range oil for balanced behaviour and then adjust thicker or thinner to fine tune compression and rebound feel.
Check the pistons when you rebuild shocks or if you notice inconsistent damping. Look for wear or burrs and replace if roundness or surface finish has degraded.
