Big-Bore Front Damping for XT8

If you want crisper front-end response on your XT8, the XRAY 358109 XT8 Front Big Bore Shock Set upgrades the front assembly with an oversized damping platform. These dampers are tuned to keep handling balanced through corners and over bumps.

Hardcoated Aluminium Shock Bodies

The XRAY 358109 shocks feature an 18.5mm outer diameter and hardcoated aluminium bodies for strength and low friction. Externally threaded barrels with adjustable collars let you set precise downstops, and the one-piece aluminium shock cap simplifies rebuilds.

Engineered Internals for Smooth Action

The 15.3mm inner diameter promotes consistent oil flow around the precision pistons, which are made from a specially-formulated composite for reliable, low-friction operation. Enlarged shock membranes suit the big-bore format to preserve damping characteristics lap after lap.

Lower End That Keeps Oil In

The lower assembly is built to reduce oil seepage and to stop dirt entry. Two silicone O-rings create a secure seal and still allow the shock rod to move freely. An aluminium lower cap anchors the rubber shock boot and makes servicing quick.

Strength in the Shock Shaft

Designed for aggressive use, the 3.5mm thick shock shafts are high-tensile steel, machined and ground for a smooth surface to resist bending under hard landings and heavy impacts.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
These shocks are engineered for the XT8 front geometry; while some components may fit other kits, full compatibility is not guaranteed without modification.
Greater oil volume smooths the damping response and reduces sensitivity to rapid compression, helping the car stay composed over rough sections.
Keep the seals clean, service the shocks regularly, and replace torn membranes promptly to maintain consistent performance and prevent oil leaks.
