The XRAY 358206 Rear Shock Absorbers with Boots Set is tailored for the XB8'16 chassis, supplying a complete solution to build two large-diameter rear shocks that keep dirt out thanks to telescopic rubber boots.

Designed for Rough Terrain

Featuring a 2mm increase in body length vs earlier designs, these shocks cope better with chop and landings. The oversized 18.5mm external diameter bodies are threaded externally and use a collar for fast spring preload changes, while titanium-colored hardcoating on the aluminium caps improves wear resistance.

Membrane and Seal Performance

The damping membrane is produced from a rubber compound chosen to keep damping predictable through heat and heavy use. The lower shock parts permit free rod movement and lower oil seepage by using advanced silicone O-rings and composite shims.

Robust Shafts for Aggressive Driving

Shocks use 3.5mm high-tensile steel shafts that are finely ground for smooth action and long life under race stresses. Note that the spring set is not part of this kit, allowing you to pick springs that suit local track surfaces.
