Rear Dampers Designed for XRAY XT8

Upgrade the rear end of your XRAY XT8 with this pair of large-bore dampers built for improved control and longer travel. Both shocks arrive assembled and fitted with dark blue hard springs, ready to handle loose or compact surfaces with predictable behavior.

High-Quality CNC Finish and Coating

Manufactured with precision CNC machining and a hard-anodized finish via XRAY's robotic hardcoating, these dampers have very smooth bore surfaces to help the piston glide freely. The kit includes three piston sizes (1.3mm, 1.4mm and 1.5mm) so you can tailor damping to local track conditions.

Durability Features for Tough Running

The shocks use durable 3.5mm hardened steel shafts for strength under heavy loads. Aluminium end caps and top rubber boots shield the upper assembly from debris, while short rubber boots plus hard foam protectors at the lower end reduce contamination of the lower parts, improving long term reliability.

Yes, you can fit different springs to change ride stiffness; start with a slightly softer rate and test changes incrementally.

What maintenance interval is recommended?

Inspect and service after heavy race weekends or every few running hours to keep seals and shafts in top condition. Replace foam protectors if compressed or damaged.
